In this Vampire universe, there are 13 clans and the game lets you play as one of 7 of them. There's a sort of Deus Ex, Shadowrun, Fallout vibe and atmosphere to the game, which is a big positive. There's a lot to say about this game since it's very long, has a lot of good and a lot of bad, and a lot of stuff to do. Troika clearly couldn't use the engine to its full potential, but I think they did a great job and worked around some of the bigger problems to deliver a more stable game. I would have to say that the Source Engine definitely helps the game world. The people who made this did a good job despite the flaws that still exist (which seems pretty typical of hugantic & tremendous single player RPGs), and when the game works its an amazing experience.
